Cosentino is proud to be part of the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum and their mission of using the history lessons of the Holocaust to reject hatred, promote understanding, and inspire change. This project was an addition to the existing Jewish Community Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
It all started when a Cosentino team member met with TR,i Architects where they inquired about facades and got to know the durability and functionality of DKTN Ultracompact. The architecture team viewed some samples, got a deep understanding for the material, and specified it for the facade and interior direct adhere wall cladding for the project.
The Jewish Federation alongside TR,i Architects visited the Cosentino Distribution Center and Showroom in St. Louis and saw DKTN in person, even bringing it outside to see how the color will look in the daylight. DKTN’s cleanability and ease of maintenance made it the perfect solution for the project.
DKTN Lunar was used for the exterior facade with Gridworx, a color with an industrial aesthetic and subtle structure. Meanwhile, the jet black DKTN Sirius was used on interior walls.
