Contemporary design and new surfaces at Cosentino's stand in 'Forma', part of the Madrid Design Festival

In the latest edition of the Madrid Design Festival, Cosentino strengthens its connection with contemporary design as one of the main sponsors of the event. Within this framework, Forma was born, the first collection design fair within the MDF programme, where Cosentino participated as an exhibitor with three pieces that synthesise its commitment to surface research, collaboration with creators, and the exploration of new formal territories.

Far from being limited to conventional applications, the brand presents a series of projects where material becomes narrative.

The first piece is the Ēclos Legnd Table, a six-and-a-half-metre oval table conceived as a bold yet serene gesture. Its continuous form, without edges or interruptions, creates a fluid reading that invites the eye to travel across the surface. The scale transforms the horizontal plane into a true interior landscape.

The material is the true protagonist: Ēclos, a new generation of mineral surfaces developed with Inlayr® technology, a layered system that provides advanced resistance to heat and intensive use, as well as being free of crystalline silica.

In the Ēclos Legnd colour, part of the Eclectic Veins collection, earthy veins and deep tones unfold like a continuous horizon. Muted browns evoke calm and naturalness, while more intense strokes traverse the surface, adding visual energy.

This is much more than a table; the piece serves as a demonstration of how technical innovation can support a large-scale aesthetic experience.

The second proposal arises from the collaboration with designer Tomás Alía. The Dekton Faceted Lamps, originally created for Casa Decor 2025, bring the ultra-compact Dekton surface into the realm of sculptural lighting.

Alía, a great friend of the brand, applies his geometric language and artisanal sensitivity to transform Dekton Grigio into volume. The lamps, conceived as pieces carved from a mineral block, explore the material's three-dimensionality with technical precision. The resistance, chromatic stability, and machinability of Dekton allow edges and planes to be resolved with an uncommon sharpness in large-format luminaires.

The deep grey of Dekton Grigio interacts with light subtly: softening highlights, refining shadows, and enhancing the sculptural presence of the collection. Dekton shines brighter than ever.

As good things come in threes, the proposal is completed by the Silestone Blanc Élysée Desk, a counter conceived as a monolithic volume with precise lines. Its clean geometry and balanced proportions convey serenity and formal control, turning the reception point into an architectural statement.

The delicately veined white background of Silestone Blanc Élysée evokes the classic elegance of marble, adding depth without losing brightness. The continuity of the surface and the attention to detail in the joints reinforce the sense of mineral purity. At the same time, Silestone's features ensure resistance and stability in intensive use contexts, maintaining its aesthetic intact over time.

In this new design festival, Cosentino is not merely presenting products but rather research on how surfaces can structure space, objects, and experiences.
