- Cosentino reinterprets the essence of wood through Dekton® technology and high performance for worktops, cladding and especially flooring
Cantoria (Almería), February 11, 2026. Cosentino, global leader company in the production of innovative surfaces for architecture and design, expands the portfolio of its carbon neutral ultra-compact Dekton® surfaces with new Amazonik collection, which reinterprets the essence of wood under Dekton® technology and high performance.
Following its last collections, Pietra Kode and Pietra Edition, that captured the beauty of classic Mediterranean stones, the brand returns to reveal with astonishing fidelity the structure of wood — its veins, rhythms and knots — through Dekton®’s technical approach. Amazonik brings high-definition finish that adds depth and detail, with a subtle grain reinforcing a natural look and a pleasant touch. A perfect balance between organic character and innovation.
Thus, Dekton® technology transforms the details of wood into patterns and textures that preserve its warmth and character yet deliver at the same time the performance of ultra-compact surfaces —color stability, very low porosity, and high resistance to scratches and impacts. Unlike wood, Amazonik is designed to withstand demanding applications — wet areas, outdoor spaces, worktops and high-traffic zones — without varnishes, oils or periodic treatments.
The collection comes in two tones: Kedar, deeper and more characterful, and Zira, lighter and luminous which, together with thicknesses and formats versatility, opens up a wide range of creative possibilities for architects and designers.
- Kedar: Based on natural oak, it features a warm tone. It fits seamlessly into organic-inspired interiors, warm Japandi-style spaces, updated rustic schemes, or projects seeking to enhance texture and character while maintaining a refined, understated aesthetic.
- Zira: A light tone inspired by whitewashed oak, ideal for interiors seeking clean lines and a contemporary aesthetic. It performs particularly well in minimalist, Nordic, or Mediterranean settings, where light, neutrality, and a sense of openness take priority.
Both tones are available in 8, 12 and 20mm thicknesses, which adapt to different scales and requirements: visual continuity across worktops and flooring, plank-format solutions, and applications in cladding, furniture and bespoke pieces. In terms of formats, Amazonik is available in Dekton® standard sizes from the large format slab (320x144cm), to 71x71cm; 106x71cm; 142x71cm; 142x142 cm; 142x106cm; 142x79cm; 159x71cm and 159x142cm formats. Additionally, and as novelty for its flooring application, the collection provides four special slim plank formats in 8mm: 159x17cm; 159x28cm; 106x17cm and 106x28cm.
Unlimited Design Flooring
This versatility makes any type of flooring design possible with Dekton® Amazonik, from large-format continuous surfaces to more dynamic layouts such as herringbone, square, or rectangular patterns in different color combinations. Its versatility offers complete creative freedom, allowing for fully customized configurations tailored to each project.
Thanks to new slim plank formats, it can be replicate the visual feel of natural wood with a contemporary design, allowing dynamic combinations of dimensions to create unique floor patterns, and ultimately providing a cozy and versatile style, ideal for different environments.
Finally, although the material is supplied in full slabs, Amazonik offer optimized standard cuts that help maximize each piece, enables flexible and easier installation on site.
