309 proposals submitted

This year’s competition received a total of 309 projects, 196 in the Architecture category and 113 in Design, submitted by European, American and Asian students.

According to Santiago Alfonso, “As President of this challenge that we have been running every year for students for the past fifteen years, I am very proud that the number of projects submitted has exceeded 300 for several editions, especially in this difficult year that we are going through. It is also a great pleasure to see new schools joining the competition, as Heriot-Watt University Dubai did a few weeks ago”.
