Cosentino Group announces the re-opening of its Manhattan City– fully revamped and renovated in keeping with the brand’s new, next-gen showroom experience. Located in New York City’s iconic A&D Building, the Manhattan City opened its doors in 2015 as the first showroom of its kind for the brand in North America. The 4,000 square-foot space has been completely reimagined – transforming how the manufacturer inspires and serves both New York City’s global design community and homeowners alike.
“When we first established our showroom footprint in New York City seven years ago, it was a pivotal milestone for the company,” says Eduardo Cosentino, CEO of Cosentino North America and EVP of Global Sales. “While this revamped space starts an even more exciting chapter, it reflects what will always be inherent to Cosentino’s DNA: Our tireless commitment to evolve and innovate so that we may better serve our customers.”
For the new City Manhattan it means embracing a more holistic and highly immersive “phygital” approach to inspire and guide the design process. This new approach is embodied in the City’s luminary and anchor – an Atelier, a design workshop that gives guests access to Cosentino’s full product offering and an expansive selection of globally and locally sourced textiles, tile, cabinetry samples and design fixtures. The new City concept also includes an augmented reality digital experience; to-scale full-slab digital display provides visitors high-definition views of veining, color and detail; and also features a full, functioning kitchen, as well as coworking-inspired networking corners.
The official Re-opening took place last week with an extraordinary event full of music, food and good vibes to celebrate the new City’s spirit. Main representatives of the design and architecture NY community attended the event. For the company, were present Eduardo Cosentino; Patty Dominguez, VP A&D for Cosentino North America; Brandon Calvo, COO Distribution; Wesly Lind, Manhattan City Manager, and the rest of Manhattan City team.
