Cosentino Group promotes the “Call to Innovation” competition for entrepreneurs
February 2, 2015
Cosentino Group is once again promoting the “Call to Innovation” competition in Spain. It is aimed at society in general, and at start-ups, entrepreneurs, researchers, scientists, and university students, in particular.
Organised in conjunction with the Rafael del Pino Foundation, this initiative is intended as a call to action and optimism. Given the major challenges facing Spain (unemployment, the financial crisis, education, energy dependence, etc.), both promoting organisations, influential in the world of innovation, are encouraging society to look to their creativity, talent and know-how to provide real solutions by using the latest technological advances.
The competition starts on 2nd February, 2015, and participation is open for one month, ending 2nd March, 2015. The two winners of the competition will receive scholarships – each worth €24,000 – to study a postgraduate course that is part of the Graduate Studies Program offered by Singularity University at NASA’s Research Park in Silicon Valley next summer.
This ten-week interdisciplinary course is one of the most select in the world. Some 80 leaders and technology entrepreneurs from 35 countries worldwide – selected from among thousands of applications received each year – come together to analyse the most significant technological advances that are transforming the world, exploring ways to use them to solve Humanity’s most serious problems.
