Cosentino Group triumphs at KBIS 2018

Cosentino demonstrated its leadership in the sector for another year through its presence at KBIS (Kitchen and Bath Industry Show) 2018, one of the most important annual events in the international kitchen and bath sector, which was held in Orlando, Florida, USA from 9 to 11 January.
KBIS is an unmissable event because it offers design, the latest ideas, fashion, innovation, and more, and Cosentino cleared the bar in all of these areas. The hundreds of people who visited Cosentino’s 325 m2 booth at KBIS 2018 were able to enjoy the latest from Dekton® and Silestone® surfaces, which, thanks to their aesthetics and functionality, provide value and inspire people’s lives.
The ultracompact surface Dekton® forms part of the splendid DeKauri project developed by Cosentino in collaboration with the designer Daniel Germani and the Italian furniture manufacturer Riva 1920. Making its global debut at KBIS, DeKauri won Silver in the ‘Best of Bath’ category of the ‘Best of KBIS 2018’ awards.
Further recognition was received at the fair by the outdoor kitchen ASA-D2, made with Dekton® by Cosentino, which was recognised by the prestigious American magazine Beautiful Kitchens & Baths through its inclusion in the magazine’s annual ‘30 Most Innovative Products’ list.
In terms of new product developments, Cosentino presented its recent Dekton® Industrial collection, made up of four non-conformist colours with an urban style and environmentally conscious character: Nilium, Radium, Orix and Trilium. Its force and aesthetic personality, combined with its unique mechanical properties, won it recognition and numerous prizes in 2017.
KBIS also provided a forum in which to present the new colours that will expand the Eternal Collection of the quartz surface Silestone® for the North American market. These five new shades – Eternal Bianco Calacatta, Eternal Calacatta Classic, Eternal Desert Silver, Eternal Emperador and Eternal Marfil – offer veining and reflections that extend over the entire surface of the slab, granting it a uniquely natural and beautiful look.
The Spanish chef Sergio Pérez provided for Cosentino at KBIS daily demonstrations of the resistance and durability of Dekton® by cooking delicious recipes directly on the material’s surface, delighting visitors. At the same time, ‘Silestone® Trendspotters’, the group of popular American designers and influencers who have worked with Cosentino for years to create new colours and fashions for the American market, held an exclusive event at the company’s booth with Eduardo Cosentino, CEO of Cosentino North America and the group’s Executive Vice-President of Global Sales.
Cosentino also participated in two very important events at KBIS 2018. The company was one of the sponsors of the KBIS Bash, which was held during that week in the city of Orlando. Hand-in-hand with Daniel Germani, a Dekton® brand ambassador and partner, Cosentino took part in the Designer Discussion Forum, organised by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
Cosentino products also beautified the spaces of other important and well-known companies in the sector, such as Wellborn, Ideal Cabinetry, Brown Jordan, Procraft Cabinetry, Gary Tan, Franke and Liebherr.
