As a finalist in the Cosentino x Sloft – The Bathelier Challenge, the agency CA Architecture d’Intérieur, founded by Charlotte Astruc, presents Évasion au Jardin d’Émeraude, a refined and conceptual take on the contemporary bathroom. The project explores the bathroom as a sensory and immersive space, far beyond its functional role.
The design is built on a deliberate interplay of materials, volumes, and natural light, with a central focus on the visual and technical properties of Cosentino’s Silestone XM collection. Two complementary shades were selected for their aesthetic contrast and harmony. Blanc Élysée, a luminous, mineral-inspired tone that enhances the purity and softness of the space. Jardin Emerald, a deep, organic green that provides a grounding element and evokes a natural, enveloping atmosphere.
The spatial layout emphasizes fluid circulation and clean lines. Custom furnishings are integrated seamlessly using Silestone surfaces, ensuring visual unity and long-term durability. The chosen palette reflects a bohemian-chic inspiration, revisited with precision: no decorative excess, just a careful balance of textures, materials, and light.
From a technical standpoint, Silestone XM—manufactured with Hybriq+ technology—offers high resistance to moisture, scratching, and staining, making it particularly suitable for high-use areas such as bathrooms. Its advanced mineral composition also allows for precise customization, aligning with the project’s aesthetic goals without compromising on performance.
Ultimately, Évasion au Jardin d’Émeraude is a sophisticated reinterpretation of the bathroom: a place of calm, retreat, and sensory depth, conceived with architectural precision and built to last. The project reflects CA Architecture d’Intérieur’s ability to combine strong visual identity with material intelligence and spatial clarity.
