Kensington Waters is the latest development by Ellington Properties, one of Dubai's most prominent high-end developers. Surrounded by parks and located next to the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, the modern residential project is situated in Mohammed Bin Rashid City. This waterfront destination has established itself as a tranquil and premium haven within the city, boasting a high number of excellent schools, restaurants, and shops. Additionally, it is within close proximity to Dubai's most popular attractions.
The complex consists of two towers with 12 floors connected to a central pavilion featuring entertainment, fitness, and leisure facilities for residents. Luxurious and equipped with the latest technology, Kensington Waters is also sustainable. This is evidenced by its compliance with Dubai Green Building requirements, including LED lighting, low-flow taps, and the selection of durable, low-maintenance finishes and materials, such as Cosentino's hybrid mineral surface Silestone.
Silestone Noctis for bathrooms and kitchens
Specifically, the team has selected Silestone Noctis from the Ethereal collection for the waterfall island, splashback, and worktop in the kitchens, as well as for the bathroom vanities on each floor.
“The interiors feature a palette of warm greys and refreshing whites, with essential accents in aquatic blue. We chose Silestone Noctis for its sustainable manufacturing and its tone, which perfectly aligns with the intended aesthetics and atmosphere of the space,” explain the developers. “Its textured white background and subtle yet striking black veining add character to the understated interiors.”
Silestone: high durability and sustainable manufacturing
The fact that Silestone is very easy to clean (just a damp cloth is enough) and remains as good as new over time thanks to its resistance to stains and impacts makes it the perfect product for this development.
Additionally, its ecological features stand out, as Silestone uses 99% recycled water, 100% renewable electricity, and a minimum of 20% recycled materials in its manufacturing process.
“Sustainability in design was an important goal for this project. This led us to choose durable and long-lasting fixtures and materials. Silestone met all the requirements, with the added value of being sustainably manufactured as well,” explain the design team at Ellington Properties.
