In Riyadh, where design often turns up the volume, the new Profit Sports Solutions showroom lowers the tone. No loudness, saturated colours, or impossible light displays. Luxury is expressed in matte white, thoughtfully crafted details, and surfaces that invite touch. The project, designed by TA Design Studio under the direction of Tahseen Amin, is a statement of principles: design can also be quiet and still draw attention.
From the open layout to the clean lines defining every corner, the interior is a choreography of high-end materials. White, far from being flat or dull, becomes a playground for textures and reflections. And this is where Cosentino surfaces come into play.
High-end textures
The crown jewel is undoubtedly the nine-metre-high Dekton Ukiyo Rem wall. Imposing without being excessive, this vertical plane adds character with its soft striations and a texture that interacts with natural light as if it were alive. The matte finish eliminates unwanted glare and provides a tactile sensation that invites closer inspection. In the words of Tahseen Amin himself: “The materials were chosen for their ability to interact with natural light and add depth to the white palette.”
But Dekton doesn’t stop at the wall: it has also been used for the showroom’s flooring, ensuring visual continuity and durability. The combination of matte, glossy, and grooved surfaces of Dekton and Silestone completes the design and elevates the visitor experience to an almost theatrical level.
A sculptural worktop
The reception worktop, with its sculptural form, is clad in Silestone Blanco Zeus, showcasing how this hybrid mineral surface can be shaped into understated yet characterful designs. It’s not just a piece of furniture; it’s a centrepiece that welcomes everyone visiting the showroom.
The rest of the space is populated by customised machines with pearl finishes and golden accents that don’t clash but rather complement the white atmosphere. The products are displayed as if they were part of a next-generation art gallery.
