The 50 Best Restaurants in the World 2018
Award Ceremony
Bilbao, Spain
For the eighth year in a row, Cosentino has demonstrated its strong relationship with haute cuisine, sponsoring the annual event " 50 Best Restaurants 2018".

Since 2002, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants has reflected the diversity of the world's culinary landscape. This annual list of the world's finest restaurants provides a snapshot of some of the best destinations for unique culinary experiences, in addition to being a barometer for global gastronomic trends.

Spain therefore becomes, for the first time, the centre of the widely known as "The Cuisine Oscars". Dekton® sponsored too the Sustainable Restaurant Award, given away by Santiago Alfonso, Cosentino´s Vicepresident of Marketing and Communication. Restaurant Azurmendi, located in Larrabetzu (Biscay), and lead by chef Eneko Atxa.

Dekton® by Cosentino had its own stand inside Palacio Euskalduna during the event with brand new Dekton® Orix surface on display. Spanish brand Cinco Jotas had its own Dekton® surface too, in their case the Domoos coloured one. Moreover, the device where their jamón was served had been manufactured in Silestone® by Cosentino quartz.
