In Corenc, Brasserie Chavant reinterprets the timeless aesthetic of historic tennis clubs through a renovation where every detail tells a story one of sport, conviviality, and exceptional craftsmanship. Here, design meets material innovation, technical performance elevates everyday use, and the sport-chic identity finds a refined contemporary expression.
Inside, the furniture crafted by Collinet plays a major role in the project’s stylistic coherence. The tables feature Dekton Khalo, a surface inspired by Patagonian stone, with subtle tones of black, pale gold, and coffee brown that create a rich mineral depth. The choice is both aesthetic and highly technical: Dekton is engineered using exclusive sintering technology, giving it extreme resistance to stains, scratches, heat, and impact. It is the ideal tabletop for a lively, high-traffic restaurant where elegance must remain flawless at all times. Collinet’s precision craftsmanship highlights the beauty of the material, offering a luxurious, durable interior expression that harmonises perfectly with the warm, club-style atmosphere.
The bar the central feature of the brasserie is meticulously crafted by Granico, combining two Cosentino materials: Silestone Jardin Emerald for the countertop and the Ukiyo texture for the vertical cladding.
The Silestone Jardin Emerald, with its deep green base and delicate golden veining, gives the bar a strong graphic presence. Designed for high performance, Silestone offers superior resistance to impact, humidity, acids, and daily wear, making it a perfect match for a space with constant activity. The Ukiyo cladding brings an architectural rhythm to the bar, with vertical lines that play with light and shadow, transforming it into a sculptural focal point.
Outside, beneath the breathtaking canopy of a three-hundred-year-old cedar tree, the Dekton Khalo tables find the perfect natural setting. Expertly fabricated by Granico, these surfaces take full advantage of Dekton’s qualities: complete impermeability, total UV resistance, thermal shock stability, and a non porous structure all essential for an intensively used outdoor dining area. Season after season, the tables retain their texture, colour, and mineral character.
Across both the indoor and outdoor spaces, a clear design narrative emerges: a palette of deep greens, warm woods, graphic tartans, and subtle references to the world of tennis clubs. Vintage Roland-Garros posters, caramel-toned banquettes, brass lighting, and expansive windows create a warm, immersive atmosphere where each detail contributes to the identity of the place.
Brasserie Chavant Corenc stands as a rare balance between: the elegance of a reimagined traditional clubhouse, the durability of cutting-edge materials, and the talent of local artisans Collinet and Granico who bring exceptional mastery to every surface. A destination that embodies the spirit of sport, the art of hospitality, and contemporary sophistication.
