For this year's edition of the design week, COS has partnered with Studio Swine, an artistic collaboration between Japanese architect Azusa Murakami and British artist Alexander Groves.
The duo, who will create an immersive, multi-sensory experience, has chosen the name New Spring to reflect the optimism and renewal that comes with seasonality.
Drawing on the Sakura Festival of Japan, the installation will centre around a focal sculpture, emitting mist-filled blossoms that burstand evaporate on contact with skin but that live on momentarily when met with textured fabrics.
