Over 12,675 professionals from the hospitality-design sector attended the interihotel 2025 fair, held at the end of October at Fira Barcelona. Developers, hotel and restaurant managers, architects, interior designers, and contract-hospitality professionals gathered for three days at the leading event in hotel and restaurant interior design. This year, Cosentino was present for the first time with its own stand, created and designed by the company's team, showcasing different environments and design solutions with Silestone, Dekton, and Sensa by Cosentino.
“This year, we wanted to directly engage with interihotel through our own stand, focusing on our solutions for the hotel and contract channel. Solutions ranging from floors, bathroom spaces, cladding, flooring, or furniture, showcased in the stand in an integrated way with a very refined design. Attending professionals were able to globally visualise the capability of our products for multi-application, with a wide variety of uses in different spaces,” says Michael Van Os, Head of the Hotel and Contract Channel at Cosentino.
Play of colours and textures
The entrance to the interior space featured a spectacular reception desk crafted in the Silestone Jardin Emerald colour from the collection, along with a mosaic of various Dekton colours as flooring. Inside, visitors could see a recreation of a hotel bathroom and bedroom, where the versatility of Cosentino materials reached its peak. The bathroom design, for instance, played with the relationship between the new Dekton Nara colour on walls and floors, and the shower area in Silestone Brass Relish colour, both on wall cladding and the shower tray.
The bedroom, meanwhile, featured an interior envelope (walls and floor) in Dekton Adia, combined with a headboard and bed furniture in Dekton Sirius. This latter colour was also used to create a wardrobe solution with a structure of openings or niches. The use of Dekton was completed with table tops for low tables. Finally, the bedroom included a desk crafted in Sensa Vancouver quartzite. Outside, visitors could see a buffet unit in Silestone Romantic Ash colour from the Silestone®XM Le Chic series, as well as a planter solution in Dekton Umber, also based on a structure of openings. The space decoration was supported by collaborations with Dornbracht, Speho, and Vibia.
Collaboration with other brands
Additionally, as in previous fairs, Cosentino products extended beyond its stand, with application designs by other prominent brands. This includes the contract company Monrabal Chirivella, which used Dekton Laurent for large-format cladding of a bedroom wall-headboard and as a tabletop, or the brands SKLD and Voolcan, with a table made in Dekton Nebbia and a washbasin in Silestone Ethereal Glow, respectively.
Additionally, the main “Concept Rooms” showcased at interihotel Barcelona featured Cosentino products. This includes the “Nomad’s Concept Terrace” project designed by PhiBa Architecture studio for Medplaya Hotels, for which an impressive square bar in Silestone Riviere Rose was created; and the “Mindful Explorer” project by ILV for Mercer Hotels, with a desk and washbasin unit crafted in Sensa Taj Mahal quartzite.
