Studio MBC created a unique interior in this villa, where custom work, natural materials, and a well-thought-out lighting plan come together. The result is a chic home that exudes luxury and comfort, with a design that combines the robustness of natural materials with refined details and innovative lighting. This creates a serene oasis by the water.
Since Studio MBC was involved from the beginning of the construction and was in continuous contact with the architect and contractor, they also contributed to the layout of the villa's interior. The custom work and all details were designed by Studio MBC. The furniture and materials were also carefully chosen. Miriam even designed the wall fixtures and the carpet in the living room. Additionally, Studio MBC was in close contact with the suppliers involved in this project, supervised the work on-site, and had a lot of creative freedom to work with various beautiful materials.
The entrance of this villa is truly impressive, with leather steps and a highlighted artwork located on a plateau under the stairs, covered with the luxurious material Dekton, in the color Grigio. The high, open space, combined with the imposing lighting, enhances the inviting feeling of the home.
The layout of the villa is open and practical. The living room and kitchen are separate spaces, but the open connection between the two is beautifully enhanced by a see-through fireplace. The interior is largely furnished with custom-made furniture, using materials such as stained wood, leather, suede, and linen. In the kitchen, Dekton is used again as a countertop and backsplash, a versatile and practical material that perfectly matches the rest of the interior. Here, the color Taga is applied.
On the ground floor, there is a sliding door that provides access to a spacious walk-in closet, which in turn leads to a luxurious bedroom and bathroom. The open connection between the spaces is again clearly visible here. The bedroom has a custom-designed headboard, and the bathroom features a double shower and sauna. Once again, Dekton, in the color Taga, is the material of choice for the finish, while subtle lighting creates a serene and calm atmosphere. Details, such as the knobs on the glass doors of the bathroom, executed in the same color as the edge of the mirror, give a refined, unique appearance.
Opposite the bedroom is a comfortable study, also furnished with custom-made furniture. The cabinets have a linen look, which is also found in the walk-in closet by the bedroom and in the children's rooms.
On the first floor are the children's bedrooms and bathroom, which have the same warm appearance as the rest of the villa. Dekton materials are also used in the bathroom and toilet, in the colors Dekton Albarium, Dekton Ceppo, and again the beautiful Dekton Taga. Additionally, there is a gym and on the attic floor a luxurious 'chill spot,' an ideal space for relaxation.
Throughout the villa, a consistent color scheme is used, with warm, natural tones such as sand and dark brown wood, combined with robust elements like Flagstone stones and leather finishes. This balance between textures and colors creates a timeless interior that feels both stylish and comfortable.
