Cosentino reinforces its presence in Portugal with new City Porto

• After Lisbon at the end of 2023, the company opens a new “Cosentino City” in the heart of Porto, at Rua do Bonjardim, 290-296.

• With more than 500m2, the space offers the Porto community of professionals, prescribers and consumers a meeting point for the development of any type of design or construction project.

Cosentino, global leading company in the production of sustainable surfaces for architecture and design, expands its presence in Portugal by bringing its innovative model of experiential and high-design spaces to Porto. The new “Cosentino City Oporto” joins the “City” that the company opened in Lisbon in 2023, covering the main cities of the Portuguese country. The space offers the Porto community of architects, interior designers, designers, prescribers and end consumers the opportunity to see the wide range of Cosentino products and solutions, through its brands Silestone®, Dekton® and Sensa by Cosentino®, as well as develop any type of design or construction project.

With a total area of ​​more than 500m2 divided into two floors, the new “Cosentino City Oporto” is located on Rua do Bonjardim, 290-296, one of the main and busiest avenues in the city center, a few meters from Santa Catarina e dos Aliados. “The arrival of Cosentino City in Porto represents a strategic step for the brand in Portugal. We want to be increasingly closer to our partners and offer them a space where they can explore, create and make their ideas comes true with the support of our innovative surfaces,” says Luciano Cadete dos Reis, General Manager of Cosentino Porto.

“Cosentino City Oporto” follows the main principles of this model designed to provide an immersive and inspiring experience. The lower floor houses a reception area, meeting space and an Atelier, all equipped with innovative digital tools. On the upper floor, visitors can enjoy a spectacular functional kitchen island and support area that integrates an invisible induction system. In addition to a second Atelier, on the upper floor all the company's solutions for bathroom are also displayed with different environments, as well as facades mock-ups.

More than 160 attendees, including clients, partners and representatives of the region's design and architecture community, attended the inauguration event that took place last Thursday. Eduardo Martínez-Cosentino Ramos, VP Iberia Sales; Pedro Parra, VP Europe Sales; Miguel Silveira, Regional Director of Cosentino Portugal; Luciano Cadete dos Reis, Porto General Manager; and the “City” team formed by Patrícia Pinho, City Manager, and Virgínia Valente, City Specialist represented the company at the event.

Cosentino opened its own subsidiary in Portugal, “Cosentino Porto”, in 2006 after the integration of Interpedras, Lda, previous Silestone® distributor for the center and north of Portugal. That year the company opened its first own warehouse (“Center”) located in Vila de Conde (Oporto) - in 2025 it has moved to a new nearby and larger location- which was followed in 2018 by the “Cosentino Center” in Lisbon. For its part, the “City” model landed in Lisbon at the end of 2023, and now continues in Porto, consolidating the brand's commitment to the national market and the professional community. With Porto, the total number of “Cosentino City” rises to 36 worldwide.
