Last 1st of December in New York City, more than 1,000 architecture and design professionals from around the world attended Interior Design Magazine’s 12th Annual Best of Year Awards—a global contest considered an ultimate measure of design excellence for products and projects.
ASA-D2 by Daniel Germani was named the winner of the Outdoor Furniture category from a pool of four finalists. A contemporary, free-standing outdoor kitchen designed by architect and designer Daniel Germani, ASA-D2 has a modular design that gives consumers the flexibility to select from four finishes and choose their appliance options, while its 360-degree functionality provides access to storage and shelving on both sides of the unit.
ASA-D2 is available in four separate colors from Dekton’s current offering. Brown Jordan Outdoor Kitchens utilized its innovative powder-coat process to customize the stainless steel cabinetry to replicate the pattern of the Dekton countertop. Colors offered include: Dekton Trilium, Dekton XGloss Spectra, Dekton Aura and Dekton XGloss Halo.
This recognition from Interior Design—a global, industry-leading design publication that for 80 years has been a go-to resource for the design industry—further demonstrates Cosentino’s global leadership in design and innovation in the surfacing industry. Daniel Germani and Ana Granados, General Manager of the Cosentino Manhattan City Center, accepted the Award on behalf of Cosentino.
