Cosentino joined the global gastronomy community as a sponsor of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2016. This year this prestigious event was held in New Your City at Cipriani Wall Street. The 15th annual event marks the first time it has been hosted in the United States, and the sixth time Cosentino has returned as sponsor of the awards.
At the gala celebration, the world’s best restaurant of 2016 was announced! Italy’s Massimo Massimo Bottura’s restaurant, Osteria Francescana, took the title! During the celebration, Cosentino presented “A Taste of Dekton.” Cosentino partnered with Ample Hills to provided delicious ice cream to the attendees. To illustrate the ultra-compact material’s unique capabilities against freezing temperatures, staining and scratching, the dessert was prepared atop Dekton. Not only was the ice cream delicious, but seeing the material in action proved to spark the interest of the attendees. “A Taste of Dekton” was a big hit with the chefs, restaurateurs and food industry professionals.
