Esteemed guests enjoyed a moderated discussion and audience Q&A with supermodel and Silestone brand ambassador Cindy Crawford, who spoke about everything from her favorite design trends, what sustainability means to her and how she spent time with her family in the kitchen over the past year. Atlanta-based Chef Ford Fry, founder of Ford Fry Restaurants including The Optimist, Marcel & King + Duke, delighted the fashion icon and attendees with a lively cooking demonstration in the City Center’s kitchen, where both the beauty and durability of Cosentino’s materials come to life. The evening culminated with a toast and ribbon cutting by Eduardo Cosentino, CEO of Cosentino North America and EVP of Global Sales for Cosentino Group, to commemorate the brand’s milestone in Atlanta and continued global success.

Noting that comfort and functionality are among the most important considerations when designing her own spaces, Crawford shared her thoughts on the intersection between fashion and design. “Whether it’s for your wardrobe or your home, you’ll never regret investing in long-lasting, timeless pieces that will endure for years to come,” said Crawford. “Products like Silestone fit perfectly into my design philosophy, because they’re sustainably made, will never go out of style, and hold up to everyday wear - so we can be a “no coaster” household without worrying about our countertops.”

Festivities continued as guests explored the revamped high-tech Cosentino City Center experience. Its luminary: The Atelier, or design workshop, where guests have access to Cosentino’s full product offering and an expansive selection of globally and locally sourced textiles, tile, cabinetry samples and plumbing fixtures. Attendees also queued to explore an augmented reality digital experience, where users can bring the design of a kitchen or bath space to life; as well as the to-scale full-slab digital displays, providing visitors high-definition views of veining, color and detail.
