Dekton Trilium, one of the latest color introductions to Cosentino’s ultra-compact surface, has received Architectural Record Magazine’s 2016 Record Products Award. A jury of six leading architects, lighting designers and interiors experts reviewed hundreds of entries and determined winners based on the product’s innovation, functionality and aesthetics.
This accolade from Architectural Record – a leading publication that for 125 years has served as an authority in design trends, new technologies and building products – recognizes Cosentino’s continued commitment to innovation. Dekton Trilium is a sustainable, high-tech surface that captures the visual texture and color variation of aged and oxidized steel by using 60% recycled content from its own production process. The introduction of this product marked the first time Dekton by Cosentino, the ultra-compact surface with advanced technical properties for both interior and exterior application, has used recycled materials in its manufacturing process.
This marks the second time Cosentino has received the Record Products Award; the Silestone Influencer Series was recognized in 2015. The 2016 Record Product winners will be featured in Architectural Record’s December 2016 issue.
