Join Cosentino For A Behind-The-Scenes Look at Dekton Innovations and Facade Applications at the 2021 AIA Conference on Architecture

This Thursday, July 29, Cosentino will showcase the versatility and advantages of its Dekton ultra-compact surfacing material at the 2021 AIA Conference on Architecture. Hosted by The American Institute of Architects (AIA), the four-day virtual conference dedicates its third day, July 29, to Community Engagement to assist architects and product managers in making meaningful connections through product courses and demonstrations.

As a part of the Community Engagement portion of the conference, Cosentino will host a live presentation, walking the audience through its Miami City Showroom to share the latest from its Dekton product offerings. The thirty-minute virtual event will provide an overview of the material’s composition and benefits, including a live demonstration of Dekton’s durability and resilience to extreme temperatures, everyday wear-and-tear, and common household items such as nail polish and alcohol. 

The Cosentino team will also showcase the wide range of Dekton applications, with a focus on how the material can be incorporated into commercial and residential facade design. The discussion will focus on the technical aspects of Dekton, the installation process, and the ventilated facades system. In acknowledgment of its performance, the Dekton ventilated facades system recently received ICC-ES certification as a result of vigorous testing under the American ASTM standard focused on attributes like weather resistance, wind load resistance, interior finish and construction types I, II, III and IV. The session will culminate in an interactive Q&A session to address any remaining questions.
