Silestone spotted on Fixer to Fabulous’ timeless kitchen transformation

In Season 7 of HGTV’s Fixer to Fabulous, hosts Jenny and Dave Marrs continue to transform historic homes in Arkansas. In one featured renovation, Silestone by Cosentino made an appearance in the kitchen, demonstrating how innovative materials are crucial in supporting aesthetic vision and everyday performance.

The homeowner, Renee Jordan, was drawn to this home for its character and unique layout, but it soon became clear that the kitchen needed complete rethinking. The original space felt dated and inefficient, with awkward corners and limited storage.

To create a more functional environment, the Marrs gutted the entire space and reconfigured the layout. They added a much-needed pantry and compact island to provide a central workspace. They even added an alcove at the bottom for her puppy’s food and water bowls, complete with a working faucet to refill his bowl easily.

At the heart of the kitchen are the new Silestone Ethereal Glow countertops, which add subtle movement and brightness to the space. Inspired by natural marble, Silestone Ethereal Glow features soft tonal variations that add depth and contribute to a clean and luminous look. The green cabinetry and gold-accented hood were the perfect counterbalance to the countertops and white tile backsplash.

This kitchen is all about details, from Renee’s mom's famous cornbread recipe carved into a wooden cutting board to a cozy breakfast nook. Together, all of the elements come together to highlight the power of storytelling in design. The result is a transitional kitchen that feels calm, cohesive, and tailored to Renee (and her puppy’s) lifestyle.
