ASA-D2 by Daniel Germani has been named a finalist in the “Outdoor Furniture” category for the 2017 Interior Design Best of Year Awards, a global contest considered an ultimate measure of design excellence for products and projects.

ASA-D2, a contemporary, free-standing outdoor kitchen designed by architect and designer Daniel Germani, utilizes ultra-durable materials, including Dekton by Cosentino and Brown Jordan Outdoor Kitchens stainless steel cabinetry, to beautifully withstand exposure to the elements. The grill, by Caliber Appliances, combines culinary design and innovative engineering that fit seamlessly into the outdoor kitchen. Its modular design gives consumers the flexibility to select from four finishes and choose their appliance options, while its 360-degree functionality provides access to storage and shelving on both sides of the unit. ASA-D2 is available in four colors: Trilium, Spectra, Aura and Halo.

This marks the second consecutive year Cosentino has been recognized in the Best of Year Awards; last year Dekton Trilium was named the winner in the Flooring / Tile and Stone category.

Winners and honorees will be announced December 1 in New York City at the IAC Building. This recognition from Interior Design—a global, industry-leading design publication that for 80 years has been a go-to resource for the design industry—further demonstrates Cosentino’s global leadership in design and innovation in the surfacing industry.
