ORLANDO, FL (April 27, 2017) – Cosentino, the global leader in the production and distribution of innovative surfaces for design and architecture, will showcase the myriad of applications of its Dekton ultra-compact surfacing and newest Silestone offerings at the AIA Conference in Orlando, FL from April 27-29.

The Cosentino booth will include the newest color launch from Silestone®, the world’s leading brand in the quartz surface category. The Eternal Series pays homage to the most sought-after exotic marbles and stones, coupled with the latest technological advancements only Silestone can offer. The collection is the first in Silestone’s offering to have veining and highlights run completely through the material, including its edges, resulting in an even more natural appearance. The Eternal Collection includes six spectacular color ways: Eternal Calacatta Gold, Eternal Statuario, Charcoal Soapstone, Pearl Jasmine, Eternal Serena, and Eternal Marquina.

Dekton® is an innovative, ultra-compact surface with technical properties and performance capabilities that make it an ideal surfacing solution for interior and exterior hospitality environments. Dekton offers superior strength, high resistance to impact, scratches and abrasion for high-traffic areas, UV and thermal shock resistance, and very low water absorption. These unique characteristics permit Dekton to be used in multiple architectural applications including countertops, flooring, wall cladding, building façades, decking and more.

At the show, the use of Dekton in large-format tile applications will be showcased, illustrating the material’s performance at levels well beyond existing standards for traditional flooring materials, such as porcelain. Dekton® XGloss Splendor, a subtle grey with a lacquered look, will be installed as the booth’s flooring. Dekton’s performance qualities offer excellent resistance to the wear-and-tear endured in high-traffic areas, and because of its unique UV- and thermal shock-resistance, it can be used outdoors in all weather conditions and climates – offering architects an extremely versatile new option for tile and flooring applications.

Also featured within the booth will be Trilium, Dekton’s new, award-winning and first-ever eco-friendly color crafted from recycled materials from its manufacturing process. Trilium captures the visual texture and color variation of aged and oxidized stainless steel with hues ranging from deep grays and blacks to rusty undertones.

“The annual AIA Conference on Architecture is a significant industry event and we look forward to showcasing our latest color offerings and applications within our booth,” said Eduardo Cosentino, CEO of Cosentino North America and EVP Global Sales Cosentino Group. “Exhibiting the beautiful aesthetics of our products is equally important as demonstrating the various application and installation opportunities they offer architects.”
