We were lucky enough to have some of the best eyes in the business on the showroom floor at KBIS 2016 this year – the Silestone Trendspotters! Beyond participating in an excellent panel on upcoming trends, hosted by Carisha Swanson of Hearst Design Group, the Trendspotters put their excellent taste and energy to work spotting the hottest new trends and products for 2016.
Drew McGukin paired new Silestone Ink with gorgeous high-gloss fixtures from Kallista, showing how the graphic print plays well with both gold and silver palettes.
Theresa Casey found inspiration both on and off the showroom floor. She spotted this circular design (in a color reminiscent of Etchings Aquatint) at Standard Hollywood.
Denise McGaha caught on to other ways graphic black and whites were being used at the show. These Kelly Wearstler tiles for Ann Sacks were a revelation.
Christopher Kennedy also found a high-gloss faucet that perfectly complimented Etchings Ink. This time it was a streamlined modern piece from Huayi.
Cheryl Kees Clendenon went a separate direction; opting to pair Etchings Aquatint with matte white finishes from Brizio and Stray Dog Designs, sure to create the bright coastal vibe she excels at in her designs.
As 2016 progresses we look forward to seeing how Etchings Aquatint and Ink play into kitchen and bath designs.
