AMERICAN DREAM BUILDERS (NBC) SELECTS SILESTONE BY COSENTINO AS FEATURED QUARTZ SURFACING PRODUCT

News

Silestone by Cosentino, the world leader in quartz surfacing, is proud to announce it has been selected as the featured quartz-surfacing product on American Dream Builders, NBC’s new one-hour home design competition series premiering Sunday, March 23, 2014 at 8/7c.

Hosted by renowned designer Nate Berkus, American Dream Builders will showcase the talents of accomplished designers and homebuilders. Pitting 12 contestants against one another, the high-stakes competition will inspire competitors to push their creative abilities to the edge.  Each episode, two teams will be expected to transform the space from the inside out in a matter of days through undertaking a major redesign or renovation project.

“Both Silestone and American Dream Builders believe that outstanding design results are produced by relying on high standards of quality and innovation. Only through the vision of talented designers and homebuilders have Silestone’s design and technical capabilites been fully realized. We are honored to be exclusively selected for a show that celebrates the imaginative forces behind exceptional home design,” said Lorenzo Marquez, VP of Marketing for Cosentino North America.

From Spanish to Tudor to midcentury modern, the designers will depend on quality materials to produce sweeping home renovations and bring a fresh, modern sensibility to each home’s innate charm and design characteristics. Every week, the judges will review the finished work and choose the winning design, with the losing team sending one member home. The last two designers standing will lead renovations on an entire home, bringing their unique vision to life through carefully employing the best products the design market has to offer.

Contestants will have Silestone’s full-range of more than 70 stylish colors at their disposal for design incorporation throughout the competition, offering a number of decorative possibilities and serving as an excellent surface option for kitchen worktops, bathrooms, floors and wall cladding.
