"Last night at the Manhattan City Center, Cosentino hosted “Global Kitchen,” a dialogue on how connectivity, health + wellness, multi-functionality and design will shape the evolution of kitchen design. Four experts from across the architecture, design, and culinary spaces shared their own insights with the 50 guests in attendance, which included leading architects, designers, media, and industry professionals.

The panel conversation was based on the Silestone Institute’s newly released 2017 Global Design Trends Study and highlighted the new products, technologies, innovations and trends to come in kitchen design – a compilation of findings from 17 international experts and 842 kitchen & bath retailers. This marks the first time Cosentino has presented its findings in the United States; Toronto immediately follows, with Sydney and Singapore soon after.

Panelists included Santiago Alfonso, Global Marketing Director for Cosentino Group; Marc Kushner, AIA, Principal of Hollwich Kushner and Co-Founder of ArchitizerJo-Ann Makovitzky, CEO of One Five Hospitality; Patricia Moore, industrial designer and gerontologist; and Susan Serra, CKD. Ana Granados, General Manager of Cosentino Manhattan City Center, moderated the discussion.
