Cosentino Sponsors ARCHMARATHON 2020

News

Cosentino Group, the global leader in innovative architectural surfacing solutions, is proud to sponsor ARCHMARATHON 2020. Held from February 27-29, 2020 at the historic Moore Building in the center of the design district in Miami, Florida, ARCHMARATHON is an international design contest dedicated to celebrating the best of contemporary architecture in the Americas and the Caribbean.

The event’s objective is to identify a selection of 50 works from design studios across this distinct geographic region that reflect the most important relationship in architecture and interior design: that between design and human beings. At the event, an international jury will select the winners based on the excellence of their projects across a variety of categories including commercial, residential, hospitality and landscape architecture, among others.

This year’s jury includes Luca Molinari, Honorary President of the ARCHMARATHON Jury; Antonio Asquino, Managing Director of GPA Partners and Co Founder of GPA Works; Claudio Silvestrin, Founder of Claudio Silvestrin Architects and Elena Manferdini, Graduate Programs Chair at the Southern California Institute of Architecture.

“We’re thrilled to participate in an event that celebrates the very best of interior design and architecture,” said Massimo Balluchi, Executive Director of Marketing, Cosentino North America. “To have this kind of event in our own backyard really exemplifies Miami’s reputation as a burgeoning design destination, and we’re delighted that we can continue supporting the local A&D community in this way.”

The event also provides a myriad of networking opportunities and lecture programs for attendees to learn more about the design process and inspiration behind the award-winning projects.

Since its inception in 2014, ARCHMARATHON has been held in Milan, Italy, Beirut and Lebanon. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.archmarathon.com
