Included in the release was Dekton Trilium. This unique color is manufactured from materials recycled from its own production process. It is the first time Dekton by Cosentino, the ultra-compact surface with advanced technical properties for both interior and exterior application, has used recycled materials in its manufacturing process.
Trilium captures the visual texture and color variation of aged and oxidized stainless steel with hues ranging from deep grays and blacks to rusty undertones, giving it an incredibly genuine appearance. Unlike the material that inspired it, Trilium is incredibly smooth to the touch and impervious to the elements, including scratches, stains, UV rays and temperature shock.
Also released this spring, Dekton XGloss Natural Series. Three sleek colorways, Glacier, Fiord and Tundra, offer a modern take on some of the most sought-after marbles. The pronounced, yet simplified veining in a high-lacquer finish is an industry first—capturing the allure of natural stone but with the ultimate durability and performance that are truly unique to Dekton.
Last but not least, XGloss Spectra was revealed to the market. Spectra is a solid black surface with exceptional shine. It’s luminous and intense color lends a spectacular elegance to any project, whether used indoors or outdoors.
Cosentino celebrated at Centers nationwide with a series of “A Taste of Dekton” events. Architects, designers, builders, tile contractors, fabricators and consumers alike attended these functions where they had “A Taste of Dekton,” literally. Each Center included a creative live demonstration showcasing the performance benefits of the materials where ice cream and toppings were mixed directly on Dekton surfacing. Dekton’s durability and resistance to scratching and extreme temperature changes were exemplified through this unique presentation.
The event successfully peaked interest in the new colors and proved to be a fun and tasty event for all the guest.
