Daniel Germani’s Contrast Table

News, Top Life

Contrast, a dining table by Daniel Germani Designs in collaboration with Dekton, takes design cues from the bold geometry and classic monochrome recently gracing runways and fashion magazine covers—both a source of inspiration for Germani and a testament to fashion’s heavy influence on furniture and interior design. Manufactured from two colors in the newly introduced Dekton XGloss Series, the most reflective and durable surface available in the marketplace today, Contrast is incredibly graphic; it invites the viewer to individually experience the negative space of the design, be it Spectra (black) or Halo (white). Like Chaos, the first piece Germani created in collaboration with Cosentino, his newest introduction can be used in both indoor and outdoor environments.

“Cosentino is both honored and thrilled to continue its partnership with Daniel Germani,” said Lorenzo Marquez, Vice President of Marketing for Cosentino North America. “With Dekton as his medium, each of his pieces convey the strength of Dekton while demonstrating the unlimited creative possibilities that exist.”

Contrast made its debut at the 2016 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas in the Cosentino booth, and soon the leading surface brand will unveil yet another piece from the collaboration at Modernism Week, February 11-21, 2016 in Palm Springs, Calif.
