Dekton Aura Featured in HGTV’s Fixer Upper

HGTV’s Chip and Joanna Gaines recently worked to transform a newly married couple’s first home from a standard ‘70s house into a romantic retreat. The design, which contains an impressive Dekton Aura kitchen island, sought to combine the classic, timely feel of the house with a new, creative ambiance.

To do this, Chip and Joanna adapted the floor plan of the home to a modern layout and incorporated older furnishings and antiques. The Dekton Aura-topped island was used to break up the combined kitchen, living area, and dining space.

Check out the entire remodel project from HGTV here, but first, take a look at how Dekton Aura fits into the open floor layout.

To increase the size of the kitchen, HGTV combined the kitchen, living area, and dining room.

The Dekton Aura countertops and custom waterfall island work beautifully with the subway tile backsplash and a farmhouse sink.

The couple was blown away by the completed remodel. Follow along on Twitter with #DektonUnlimited to see more amazing applications of Dekton.
