Cosentino Group will be at the 15th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice from May 28 to November 27 as the sponsor of the Marghera exhibition in the Venice Pavilion. Cosentino will also be sponsoring the exhibition “Aftermath_Catalonia in Venice. Architecture Beyond Architects” by the Institut Ramon Llull.

The title of this 15th edition of the Venice Biennial, “Report from the Front,” marks the beginning of the Venice Pavilion curators’ new focus on the restoration of Marghera, an industrial area of Venice. The Venice Pavilion has placed its trust in a group of young architects and photographers who have created a series of visions and perspectives for this industrial area by observing history and making recommendations for the future. Impressive tables made of the ultra-compact surface Dekton will act as supporting elements for this show.

The Institut Ramon Llull is also presenting the exhibition “Aftermath_Catalonia in Venice. Architecture Beyond Architects”, as one of the collateral events of the Architectural Show. The project is curated by architects Jaume Prat and Jelena Prokopljevic along with film director Isaki Lacuesta. Using audiovisual installations, seven public architectural events are offered to set an example of architecture that improves the user’s relationship with the urban, social and natural environment. Dekton was chosen to make a range of impressive totems that present visitors with information on the audiovisual installation.
