Dekton® Sponsors The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2019 Event in Singapore
On June 25th, 2019, in Singapore, Dekton® attended the most important event in the global restaurant industry, the The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2019 gala. Dekton® attended as an official sponsor, announcing the contest’s winner. The event was also sponsored by luxury mineral water brands, S. Pellegrino & Acqua Panna.
Mauro Colagreco’s restaurant, Mirazur, earned the top spot in this prestigious ranking. Located in Menton, in the French Riviera, Mirazur already holds 3 Michelin stars.
Dekton surfaces are utilized in Mirazur’s kitchen, which is inspired by the sea, the mountains and the fruit and vegetables grown in Colagreco’s own gardens.

The event, celebrated at the Marina Bay Sands hotel, brought together dozens of chefs, restaurateurs, industry professionals and media. Dekton® also participated as the official countertop supplier of the event. In addition, Dekton sponsored various culinary masterclasses offered by the world’s top chefs as part of the program of activities.
Members of the Cosentino Singapore team, including Asia Director, Ross Cameron, Singapore General Manager, Pablo Abad, and Asia Marketing Coordinator, María Fernández, attended the event.
This year’s event marks the ninth time that Cosentino Group has partnered with the World’s 50 Best Restaurants through its brands, Dekton® and Silestone®.
