The Mutua Madrid Open 2019 began on Friday, May 3rd, with the ultracompact surface, Dekton® by Cosentino, as a main sponsor.

Various Dekton® colors are featured in some of the most iconic areas of the stadium, at the Park Manzanares in Madrid, Spain, enhancing the space.

As part of the #GraciasFerru initiative at the Mutua Madrid Open – a tribute to the Spanish tennis player, David Ferrer, who will bring his career to a close at this tournament – top players such as Rafael Nadal, Feliciano López, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Dominic Thiem, Kei Nishikori and Juan Martín del Potro, as well as tennis legends, such as Manolo Santana, Conchita Martínez and Alberto Berasategui, have dedicated a few moving words to him on a table made from Dekton®. This piece, made with the new 4-mm-thin Dekton® Slim surface, has been gifted to Ferrer by Cosentino and the tournament’s organizers.

The Dekton® and Cosentino VIP zone also welcomed Petra Kvitová, who is playing in the WTA Premier Mandatory event, and currently ranks 3rd worldwide.

Dekton® at the Mutua Madrid Open

Beauty, elegance and durability are all qualities that Dekton® has brought to the world of tennis in the last few days, thanks to its strong presence in the arena.

The two access areas to the Caja Mágica boast a variety of stands that highlight Dekton’s shiny Spectra color.

The entrance to the VIP dining area, with its stunning views of the lake, is decked with stands and walls created in the popular color, Bergen, from the Dekton® Stonika collection.

The exclusive Sky Lounge on the top floor of the building, which offers stunning panoramic views over Manolo Santana centre court, boasts several Dekton® Keon bar tops.

The Dekton® and Cosentino private lounge has become a real showroom for the brand. The bar area showcases a bar top made in Dekton’s Entzo and Kelya colors – featuring a show-cooking counter top in the industrial color, Dekton Kreta, in the 4 mm Dekton® Slim thickness – and a range of side tables created using the Bergen tone.

Lastly, the walls in the reception feature six shades of cladding from the new and successful Dekton® Stonika series.

The public area also includes a Dekton® table, where hundreds of people will play table tennis throughout the tournament.

Silestone® at the Mutua Madrid Open

Silestone®, Cosentino’s quartz surface, will also be featured prominently at the Mutua Madrid Open, through the #TopsOnTop activation taking place in the sponsors’ zone next to the main entrance.

A stunning countertop made in the Eternal Calacatta Gold color sets the benchmark for fun features and fascinating design.

The Silestone® Eternal collection is the main focus in the exclusive VIP dining area, dedicated this year to the city of Madrid.

Each dining area features countertops in different Silestone® colors, and the center of the outside terrace features a circular bar comprised of Silestone® Eternal Marquina.

The Cosentino private lounge welcomes guests with a beautiful reception desk in the Eternal Statuario color.
