Each year The Christopher Kennedy Compound is unveiled during Modernism Week as a haven for great design – and this year was no exception. Silestone Trendspotter, Christopher Kennedy, along with a laundry list of excellent designers, outdid themselves with midcentury designs that were the talk of the week.
Silestone was pleased to be a sponsor of the home, with materials included in the kitchen as well as the laundry room, walk in closet and several bathroom spaces. Take a peek at the home below and see how Silestone was incorporated into each fabulously designed space.
The Kitchen – Christopher Kennedy expertly mixed Silestone Platinum Chrome with brand-new Dekton XGloss Halo for a stunning island that was the centerpiece of the kitchen.
The Laundry Room – Fellow Silestone Trendspotter Denise McGaha didn’t spare color or print in this cheerful room but opted for bright white countertops with Silestone White Zeus Extreme.
The Closet – Not to be left out of the color fun, designer Kelli Lee also chose to use Silestone White Zeus Extreme and continued the tropical motif with refreshingly fun pink and green leafy wallpaper.
The Den Bathroom – Keith Fortner chose Silestone Yukon Blanco as the subtle foundation for a spa-like bathroom with ornate details like a carved screen divider.
The Powder Room – Dark grey Silestone Cemento brought a warmth and depth to the powder room designed by Michel Boyd. Luxury details like a sleek copper-toned faucet echoed the mottled wallpaper and gold-framed art.
Congratulations to all of the designers involved with The Christopher Kennedy Compound! Once again it was a beautiful display of talent and art.
