SUEDE WINS “PRODUCT INNOVATION AWARD” FROM ARCHITECTURAL PRODUCTS
November 12, 2013
Suede, the striking matte finish for Silestone natural quartz surfaces, has been designated a winning product in the Surfaces Category of Architectural Products 2013 Product Innovation Awards.
The Product Innovation Awards (PIAs) honor innovation in the development and refinement of buildings-related products, that range from cladding systems to interior finishes. The program presents a mechanism for Architectural Products to impartially review products and present to its readers those products it found to be innovative and worth investigation. Products and entries were assigned to a diverse judging panel of 50 independent industry professionals, including architects, interior designers, lighting designers and veteran A/E/C writers, for review based on each judges’ expertise and interests.
“The entire Silestone team is honored that Architectural Products recognized Suede in such a prestigious awards program,” said Lorenzo Marquez VP of Marketing for Cosentino North America. “Suede was developed in direct response to growing demand for refined, matte surfaces that members of the architecture and design community are encountering. This designation from Architectural Products reinforces our commitment to meeting the needs of architects, designers, and consumers, who seek an aesthetically pleasing, high-performing and durable surface for the kitchen and bath.”
All winners of the 2013 Product Innovation Awards, including Suede by Silestone, will be featured in a special section of the November print issue of Architectural Products.
