We're On Trend at the Kips Bay Decorator Show House
May 1, 2014
Every year the Kips Bay Decorator Show House is a not-to-be-missed springtime destination in New York City, ushering in more than 300,000 visitors throughout the month of May. This year is no exception and we are especially excited because Atlanta-based designer, Matthew Quinn, decided to use Silestone as part of his design for the kitchen.
The show stopping Kitchen Island was created in Silestone Helix with a Suede finish. The overall design is a response to the view of St. Patrick’s Cathedral and in addition to the Silestone countertop, features a centerpiece range hood made from pulverized limestone and marble.
What better location than this to kick off our third year of the Silestone Trendspotters program? We’re bringing back program alumni Kerrie Kelly, Kim Lewis, Mark Williams and Julia Edelmann and livening up the party with new addition Courtney Cachet.
Take a look at this New York Times feature on the Kips Bay Show House and stay tuned for more as they check out Kips Bay and more later this month!
