The Grand Living has been introducing tailor-made elegance and style into homes across South Africa with its bespoke furniture pieces since 2010. In August, the South African designer furniture brand made its debut at one of the biggest decor and design shows in Africa, Decorex Joburg, as part of the Atelier Cosentino stand.
Long-time fans of Cosentino’s Dekton, The Grand Living founder Andre Geldenhuys jumped at the opportunity to collaborate with one of their favourite brands on a new range of furniture that put Dekton on show.
Furniture meets surfaces
Inspired by the South African landscape and its sun-kissed climate, The Grand Living’s furniture seamlessly blends interiors and exteriors to create timeless beauty. This is why Cosentino’s ultra-compact, high-performance Dekton surfaces, which offer endless design possibilities for outdoor and indoor spaces, were The Grand Living’s go-to choice.
The range that debuted at Atelier Cosentino included a coffee table, a dining table and a shelf paired with elements of wood, stainless steel and tactile textiles.
Poetic colour choices
Dekron’s Onirika collection of marble-inspired surfaces was designed by award-winning interior designer Nina Magon. The Grand Living selected three stunning colours from this range: the light cream Dekton Neural, which has fine, light marbled veins; Dekton Reverie, which has thicker veining with gradients of greys, creams, terracotta and subtle inky blues; and the deep black Dekton Somnia with its gentle grid of white veins.
