Located in central Almería, the Vaniela restaurant features a cosy Mediterranean look, with a design that is as fresh as the Italian cuisine it serves. The design surrounds the atmosphere with warm colours and a play of textures that give character and personality to the bar area, the dining room and the private area. “For this interior design project I was inspired by our sea, emulating the Mediterranean style with fresh yet warm materials”, explains Lucas Paris Pérez, the man behind the design of this new gastronomic space in the city. 

All the spaces are visually connected, not only through the colours, but also through the materials chosen, among which Dekton stands out. “Dekton Umber had the perfect tone I needed for this project”, says the architect. Alongside Dekton, there are a number of elements that round off the cosy and plain ambience. “The lighting and its unique elements, the neutral colour scheme with touches of greenery and a very special piece made of freeze-dried wheat stalks provide the perfect ambience for an unforgettable experience”, says Lucas Paris Pérez.

From the very entrance of the restaurant, you can admire the beauty of Dekton on the façade, “as if it was a waterfall”, says the designer. Its intense colour, inspired by Port Laurent natural stone, offers a world of detail and texture, with its golden veins contrasting against a dark background. A colour that creates a play of contrasts with the interior floors in Dekton Nacre, “a textured colour, light and fresh, that I chose for the floor of the restaurant and the bathroom area”, he explains. 

“I designed the bar top in the form of a rectangular cube in Dekton Umber. It is situated at the entrance, to welcome guests in a nice and warm way”, says the architect. This element plays a leading role in terms of colour thanks to its terracotta tone, full of character.
