“We bought a detached house in Lahti at the end of 2021. The house had a good atmosphere right from the first visit. I fell in love with the space, the use of space and the sloping window lines. We knew there was a complete kitchen renovation ahead. For the new kitchen, oak and warm grey were chosen. The shade of the cabinets is warm light grey/greige NCS S 1502-Y50R. For kitchen countertops I chose Silestone Ethereal Glow”, explains Annamaria.
“The color Glow from the marble-inspired Silestone Ethereal collection is a reimagined version of the Calacatta Gold classic with a more spectacular and modern design. The colors of the collection have a variety of spectacular patterns on light backgrounds. The elegant gold and grey lines of the prestigious pattern blend into the nuanced white background, running around the countertop and bringing colour to every corner, making it a perfect fit for our new kitchen designs.”
“In addition to its beautiful appearance, I was influenced by the new HybriQ+® manufacturing technology. When designing the kitchen, I also wanted to emphasize responsible choices, which is why it was easy to end up with a countertop made with the help of environmentally friendly HybriQ+ technology. The slabs in the Ethereal collection include recycled raw materials.”
“The environmentally friendly production process uses only renewable electrical energy and 99% of the water used is recycled and contains at least 20% recycled raw materials. A big thank you also to the skillful machining of stone producer Ylämaan Graniiti, the patterns continue on different surfaces wonderfully and the installation service was excellent.”
“By far the most beautiful part of our kitchen is the Silestone countertops, which have also been raised to the walls of the seating recess and as the back wall of the breakfast cabinet. The worktops have beautiful grey and gold-folding streaks that create a marbled pattern”, concludes.
