Valdebebas 127 Residential Development Featuring Dekton and Silestone

World renowned Silestone® and Dekton® by Cosentino surfaces have been specified for various applications in the construction of the striking Valdebebas 127 project in Madrid.  The unique residential development is situated along the infamous Valdebebas Central Park and consists of 201 two, three and four bedroom apartments that boast striking views and stunning interiors.  By selecting Dekton® and Silestone® surfaces, the project has incorporated the latest, innovative materials for construction and architecture into its design.

Around 8,000 m2 of the ultra-compact surface Dekton® has been used for the façade, cladding and pedestals on the development due to its excellent aesthetic qualities as well as its exceptional durability, thermal performance and high stain resistance.  Dekton® colours Warm (custom) and Korus were chosen to visually correspond with the project’s surroundings.  Korus’ grey shade has been used to highlight standout features of the façade, complementing the custom made Warm colour perfectly.  The building’s distinctive pedestals were specified in Dekton® Domoos, an elegant black shade that provides a welcome contrast to the external design.

The project’s architect Carlos Rubio said, “The exceptional qualities of Dekton® were a key factor in selecting it as the façade material. Its large format, as well as its variety of textures and colours, have allowed us to emphasise our play on form and volume within the design.”
