It was the dream of designer and influencer Caroline Bahrenscheer - and with a combination of a handle-free kitchen from Reform and a light grey, natural worktop & backsplash from Dekton, the kitchen has now been completely renovated, expanded and has become a kitchen that is both beautiful - and durable everyday life in a busy family.

With the finest location in Caroline Bahrenscheer's childhood neighborhood is the classic 60s house, which is currently undergoing a transformation and becoming a tailor-made setting for a busy family. There is a view of the forest, the water is close by - and from the newly renovated kitchen you look out at the trees and follow the changing seasons very closely.

“We have chosen to make the kitchen larger than it was originally, to preserve a bit of the original 60s atmosphere in both the expression and our choice of materials - and to choose materials that are beautiful, play together - and that we believe that we want to look at for many years.”

Caroline found the perfect kitchen at Reform CPH - and it was also here that Dekton first appeared as a worktop: “We wanted our worktop to be suitable for both small children and teenagers - and that we don't always have time to clean up and clean immediately. Dekton can do that.”

The obvious choice for the house would be a wooden or steel worktop - but practicality prevailed and the choice fell on the light gray Dekton Kovik, which has a calm, natural look that suits both steel and wood - and not least the natural stone floor, which connects the kitchen and enter together.

The worktop is complemented by a high backsplash, which follows the lower edge of the kitchen's high-placed window – and the straight edge gives peace of mind to the interior.
