This outdoor chef’s paradise by the Home Improvements Group is nestled in the heart of California’s rich agricultural farmland. The inspiration behind the design was to create a beautiful and functional multigenerational space where the family could gather to cook and eat together. The Dekton Kira countertops provided the perfect balance between beauty and durability, and it was the best choice to survive the hot California summers and cool winters.

The original design concept was to wrap the cabinets in the same stainless steel finish cabinetry paneling, but after the client saw what the Home Improvements Group could achieve with Dekton, the design took a new and stunning direction.

The brown and gray undertones found in Dekton Kira were the perfect marriage for the warm tones of the cabinets and polished concrete slab flooring. The space is ideal to prep, cook, clean, and serve outside with a 1,5 m Galley workstation with multiple taps, tiered levels for cutting boards, colanders, bowls, serving solutions, electrical pop ups, and more. The Danver stainless steel case construction cabinets with a teak wood front face finish, which offers year-round functionality by creating a tight deal on the door and drawer with weather stripping.

Besides durability and beauty, Dekton Kira also creates a seamless look to envelop the cabinets and appliances. The Home Improvements Group worked with the fabricator to create a cohesive waterfall and mitered edge finish on each and every angle, bringing the veining down to the edges for a spectacular finish.
