Silestone® wins big at Designerati Awards 2023

• Silestone® Urban Crush and HybriQ+® technology wins gold for ‘Material Product of the Year’

Silestone® by Cosentino won Gold in ‘Material Product of the Year’ category at the designerati awards 2023. The awards were hosted at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium to an audience of over 400 designers, architects and manufacturers from leading kitchen and bathroom brands, interior design practices and key supplies and fabricators.

Celebrating its 21st year, the awards are the UK kitchen & bathroom industry’s most coveted design honours, with categories acknowledging excellence in residential K&B design schemes and products. Finalists across a wide range of kitchen and bathroom design categories were celebrated at the event, which showcased projects of all budgets and styles, along with some of the industry’s most innovative new products across the kitchen, bathroom, materials and technology sectors.

Winning the Material Product of the Year, the Urban Crush range from Silestone® was launched in 2023 and is a collection full of colour. A collection inspired by the heartbeat of the city and new urban trends, the designs recreate the look of limestone and sandstone and comprises four stylish colourways - Lime Delight, Concrete Pulse, Brass Relish and Cinder Craze – all inspired by the textures of the city.

Created using HybriQ+® technology, Silestone Urban Crush collection is a high-performance blend of premium minerals, quartz, and recycled materials produced through a more sustainable manufacturing process. Manufactured using 100% recycled water and electric energy from renewable sources, as well as using a minimum of 20% recycled raw materials in its composition, the collection creates a considered ideal industrial backdrop, forming the perfect partner for raw and eclectic spaces.
