This breathtaking 870 sqm home is straight out of a fairy tale. Located on the edge of Via Bluffs, this newly built contemporary gem embodies luxurious Palisades living against a coastal backdrop. Developed by Metro Capital Builders, it features a strategic multi-tiered layout including eight bedrooms and eleven baths that epitomize stellar design and functionality. Cosentino worked closely with Metro Capital Builders to incorporate Silestone and Dekton surfaces in creative ways throughout the home, and the result is a sight to behold. The surfaces were used in a wide range of colors and applications, truly showcasing the versatility and play of Cosentino materials for both indoor and outdoor use. Let’s take a look.
One Kitchen and many bathrooms with Dekton
The kitchen is as beautiful as it is functional thanks to Dekton Bergen, which was used on the countertops and island for a timeless feel. The cool gray veins of Bergen perfectly complement the dark cabinetry and appliances and the gold accents throughout. Additionally, the home boasts a fully functional and luxurious outdoor kitchen with Dekton Blanc Concrete countertops. Dekton’s weather and UV ray resistance make it ideal for the California heat.
Bathrooms are moving beyond the practical to become the ultimate wellness sanctuary. A study by Cosentino shows that both designers and homeowners ranked spa-inspired bathrooms within their top three home priorities. In this home Silestone and Dekton truly shine in the many bathrooms, each with their own style and personality.
The master bath is the embodiment of an at-home wellness oasis, with Dekton Arga on the tub surround and floor. Dekton Arga is also seen in the wet bar and linen closet. The minimalist white/gray Dekton Nilium adorns one bath while the unique shades of Dekton Khalo and the sleek Dekton Rem are featured in another. And we can’t forget the pristine white Dekton Blanc Concrete in the powder bath.
Four colors from the Sunlit Days collection
Four unmistakable colors from the Sunlit Days collection also play a role in this home. These Mediterranean-inspired shades reflect the natural texture and feel of the home that Metro Capital Builders wanted to achieve. The classic Silestone Cincel Grey was used on the gym bath, while the warm terracotta Silestone Arcilla Red can be seen on two bathrooms as well as the basement powder room.
Silestone Posidonia Green, a unique and striking color is on two bathroom vanity tops while Silestone Cala Blue, an ocean-inspired color graces yet another bath. To finish off the tour of this amazing home, Silestone Et. Marfil from the Eternal Collection was used in the floating staircase while Dekton Edora can be seen on the flooring.
This project was a labor of love and the product of collaboration and partnership. Our partner, Ornare is responsible for the stunning kitchen cabinetry and furniture while Ferguson brough elegance and timelessness with the faucets. This imposing structure is a true testament to the versatility and durability of Cosentino materials, available in colors for every taste and usable in a variety of applications.
Two other Cosentino materials were also used in the secondary bathrooms: Silestone Posidonia Green, a serene, full of light shade of green that elegantly illuminates and brings harmony to any space, was used for the countertops; and Silestone Cala Blue, a deep, modern and stimulating blue shade which, in its interaction with light, strikes a balance between the depth and surface of the sea.
