"My aim is to create well-balanced colour schemes with surprising design elements. Materials such as Dekton, Silestone, wood and stone help me to achieve harmonious design schemes. Dekton is one of my go-to materials when it comes to feature walls, kitchen worktops or even bespoke furniture pieces."
Founded by Vanda Vecsei in 2021, Vanda Vecsei Designs specialises in creating beautiful and timeless interior and exterior spaces. Vanda’s passion for design started from a young age, when she knew she wanted to reimagine and create unique spaces. She moved to the UK and studied Interior Design at Chelsea College of Art & Design, where she graduated in 2014 as an Interior & Spatial Designer. To her studio, she brings over a decade of experience working in high-end kitchens and bathrooms, which has developed her meticulous eye for details and technical knowledge in all aspects of bespoke cabinetry and spatial design.
Influenced by Wabi-Sabi, which has inspired and impacted Vanda’s personal life and design work, Vanda Vecsei Designs’ work incorporates the practice of looking at imperfections with an open mind, and finding beautify in the most mundane objects and details.

I could not put a label on my design style as it is so versatile
I let the space inspire me
I am drawn to the combination of warm neutral colours combined with natural materials and contrasting finishing touches such as bronze, brass or black. I immerse myself in the tiniest details and I let the space inspire me and tell me what it needs.

Dekton is one of my go-to materials
Dekton is one of my go-to materials when it comes to feature walls, kitchen worktops or even bespoke furniture pieces. I absolutely love the natural look of the new Pietra Code collection and plan to use this in our next property.
Mess is a necessary step towards the project reaching its full potential
My clients usually think I have gone mad because the site is such a mess! But to me, it is a necessary step towards the project reaching its full potential.

Embracing bespoke design to create unique spaces
I am forever restless when it comes to art & design and love to learn about ancient cultures and building methods. For example; Hungary, the country where I was born and raised, still has plenty of buildings that are built out of adobe bricks with reed roofs. This building method is not only sustainable but reusable, recyclable and biodegradable both during construction and demolition.

Designers must embrace the use of sustainable materials
I feel that as designers, we must embrace the importance of the use of sustainable materials. It is our responsibility to inspire, educate and encourage our clients and colleagues towards coming up with innovative ways to reduce our ecological footprint.
In 2024, I am working on a bespoke kitchen and completing a period property renovation
Dekton worktop and will complete the look with a bespoke coffee table. I have also been working on a renovation of a period property in West Sussex. I started working on this project in 2021 so I am super excited that it will be finally completed this Spring.
"About Vanda Vecsei’s C-Top project This project was a result of a fantastic collaboration with Nova Kitchen Designs. I worked really closely with the project manager and the fitting team who have executed all my ideas perfectly. A stunning high-end German wood effect kitchen where we used bronze handrails, walnut drawers, and warm light tones to enhance the scheme. Dekton Khalo was used to clad the island on both sides and additionally, we used the same surface to wrap the side of the tall units and back wall to make the scheme more cohesive and unique. The all-black handles, sink, tap, appliances and light fixtures work in perfect harmony with Dekton Khalo. The stunning wood effect doors add simplicity to the otherwise bold colour scheme."
