Bringing contemporary into life with Dekton
Being the exclusive sole distributor of cutting-edge kitchen appliance brands FALMEC and FOSTER in South Korea, MAXTIME has successfully enhanced its showroom experience through the use of innovative materials by Cosentino.
As a distributor and retailer, a successful retail showroom design is an important aspect of MAXTIME’s business strategy. Cosentino is proud to be creating value in and around MAXTIME’s new showroom and office that effectively expresses the identity of the company.
Located in Seocho district, Seoul, MAXTIME’s showroom and office building boasts a trendy, geometric design concept in which Dekton Trilium and Dekton Sirius take prime focus as a façade. Dekton Trilium’s industrialised look of rusted steel lends the perfect touch to create an extremely distinct and edgy look to the building. Dekton Sirius complements the edgy Trilium with its textured visual sensation and subtle greenish touches by bringing realism and strength as visitors enter the building.
A total 350-sqm of Dekton Trilium and 50-sqm of Dekton Sirius envelop the building, both in 20 mm thickness.

Dekton stands the test of time and weather
Aesthetics and resistance to Seoul’s extreme weather were two important requirements for this project where temperatures can soar as high as 35°C and drop to as low as -20°C.
Dekton’s superior performance makes the material a great choice for such a demanding architectural project. Dekton not only improves functional performance of the façade with respect to heat reduction and insulation, it also increases weather protection and durability with its UV resistance, stain resistance and long-lasting colour fastness.
Design with commitment
Dekton Trilium is also the first recycled colour within the Dekton line, thereby improving the overall sustainability of the building. Ultracompact surface Dekton is now officially recognised as a carbon neutral product since 2020.
Within the building, 80-sqm of Dekton Trilium in 8 mm thickness continues to line the walls of common corridors with its somehow metallic effect, creating a seamless transition and connection with the outside surrounding.
In addition to façade and wall cladding, a multitude of Cosentino surfaces are integrated into the showroom space as worktops to complement MAXTIME products, including: Kelya, Aura, Korso, Domoos, Entzo, Kira, Arga, Sirius and Lunar for Dekton colours; Urban Frost, Arden Blue Volcano and Pearl Jasmine for Silestone colours and, finally, Sensa Black Beauty.
