Get inspired by this stunning residence in Dallas, featuring a kitchen remodel and butler’s pantry addition by KB Designs for a foodie family. Durability and non-porous features were a must for the kitchen surfaces, as this family loves to cook Italian food which equals tons of tomato sauce and red wine - need we say more?
Designer Kristin Brown of KB Designs visited the Cosentino showroom with her client to find a surface that lived up to their very specific design vision. They wanted the classic look of marble but with a twist and added durability. In come Dekton Morpheus from the Onirika Collection. This classic yet edgy color presented the perfect solution for a clean look with interesting and dramatic veining in warm tan and gray tones intermixed with a matte finish.
With Dekton Morpheus, they could achieve the bold look they wanted while maintaining ease of use for a family friendly and entertainment ready kitchen. Another key Dekton benefit its is near zero porosity, making it impervious to liquids and stains from food, cleaning supplies, and other substances. Additionally, it is highly resistant to heat, that means you don’t have to worry about hot pots and pans damaging the surface.
Dekton Morpheus is not only featured on the kitchen countertop but also on the backsplash above the range creating a cohesive look. The dramatic three meters island with waterfall sides are definitely the star of the show - ideal for food prep, cooking, eating, and hosting!
