A ten-year career in the profession supports the trajectory of the Argentinian interior designer Clara Rasore, the mastermind behind this spectacular kitchen in a London house. Residential design is her strong point and minimalism is her hallmark. “I love to go for minimalism and simple, timeless designs in my projects”, says Rasore.

Under this premise, the interior designer often creates interiors influenced by the Japanese style – Japandi style –, such as this kitchen, where brightness and simplicity are reflected through its clean lines and neutral tones. To achieve this style, the worktops feature a combination of wood – one of Rasore’s favourite materials – and Dekton. In addition, the interior designer chose Silestone for the bathroom.

Perfect design and functionality for a family kitchen

“I use Cosentino products in almost all my projects, most of them residential projects in London and Buenos Aires”, says the architect. And she continues: “design is important, but so is functionality, which is why durable and sturdy materials, such as Dekton and Silestone, are my first recommendation for family projects, especially with children”.

Indeed, Dekton’s resistance to stains, scratches and temperature changes, as well as its easy maintenance, make it perfect for spaces such as the kitchen. “Cosentino offers the perfect combination of beautiful design and sturdy, user-friendly materials that can be enjoyed without worrying about maintenance. For me, this is a priceless and timeless aspect to consider in my designs”, says the architect.

Spaces with clean, timeless lines

Rasore claims that her style falls within the framework of modern Scandinavian minimalism. “Clean, uncluttered lines, without ornamentation, quiet, spacious, airy and, above all, with plenty of light”, she explains. Under this premise, she undertook the design of this kitchen in which Dekton brings its flawless aesthetics to all the worktops.

The colour chosen was Dekton Bergen, which fits perfectly with the cosy appearance of the wood used for the cabinets. Inspired by Portobello stone, Bergen embellishes the room with its beautiful greyish veins against an off-white background with delicate filigree.

In addition to the kitchen, Rasore chose another Cosentino product for the bathroom washbasins and countertops. Specifically, she chose Silestone White Zeus, a clean and bright colour which, together with the wood used for the furniture, brings a timeless elegance to the room.
