“Dalvey Haus is a showcase of high-end architecture. Design schemes are elegantly simple, thoughtful and there is a pervasive sense of craft and quality to every item that you touch and see.” This quote is taken from the website of this new residential development in Singapore, and it’s no wonder why.
“Our contractor suggested using Dekton instead of marble to achieve a similar look and feel to that of marble on the façade, but allowing for cost savings and ease of maintenance, an idea with which the customer agreed”, says the studio. In fact, Dekton is a comprehensive, customised and sustainable technical solution that allows the creation of façades resistant to the most demanding conditions.
With contemporary and majestic exteriors, Dalvey Haus has the aesthetic of a “modern urban gallery”, which adds to the almost wild opulence of its extensive gardens. The uniqueness of the development, clad in Dekton Danae, can be seen from its very façade. Like sand that moves in the desert, the different shades of beige of this colour are reflected along its surface to capture the essence of movement, perfectly capturing the spirit of this new development: calm, but at the same time, lively and avant-garde.
The look and feel of marble, but much easier to maintain
Comprising only ultra-compacted and sintered natural inorganic materials, the versatility and resistance of Dekton slabs, available in a wide range of thicknesses, allow them to be used in all types of projects, whatever the requirements. In addition, unlike marble, Dekton is maintenance-free and comes with a 25-year warranty.
“It required a lot of coordination with the installers of the façade support system (installed using the Fischer ventilated façade system) to achieve the planned design, maintaining the size of the slabs and the orientation of their fibres while sticking to the customer’s budget”, says the studio.
In the end, the result fully met expectations. The studio highlights the clean architectural lines and cube-shaped structure of the development, whose façade features recessed windows strategically placed to create multiple viewpoints framing the green views of the surroundings. According to the professionals, its minimalist look translates into a timeless façade that pays great attention to detail and exudes calm and tropical exuberance.
Cosentino materials for maximum sophistication in kitchens and bathrooms
As for the bathrooms, the surface chosen was Sensa Black Beauty. This Indian granite features a black background crossed by white veins reminiscent of the foam of the waves in a wild ocean. Its luxurious character certainly fits in perfectly with this exclusive Singapore development.
Eco ID also chose Cosentino materials for the kitchens and bathrooms of the dwellings. The colour chosen for the kitchens was Silestone Calypso, a sober tone with warm touches of intense depth that add contrast and depth to bright spaces. Like Dekton, Silestone, the most sustainable and cutting-edge hybrid surface of premium minerals and recycled materials available on the market, is very easy to maintain and remains unaffected by scratches, stains and impacts.
